Bridgewater's regional centre, opened in 2014

The Lunenburg County Lifestyle Centre had its grand opening in Bridgewater on October 4, 2014, with a full-size arena and an aquatic centre under one roof. The Government of Nova Scotia put $10 million toward the $34.1 million project, and the Town of Bridgewater and the Municipality of the District of Lunenburg covered the balance.

The arena is set into the hillside, so its upper concourse seating is at the building's entry level, and a central galleria runs alongside it to the pool and the library. Its refrigeration plant uses a heat exchange system to preheat the pool water. The NHL-size ice is in all year, with seats for 1,192 spectators, standing room for 220 around the rails, and five dressing rooms plus two club rooms.

Junior B hockey came to the centre in July 2023, when a Nova Scotia Junior Hockey League team that had played out of Liverpool for the previous ten years moved in. Concession and bar service runs during its Junior B games.
