Two-sheet Walpole arena first built as a training base for the US Women's Olympic hockey team.
Cadillac Ice Arena was originally built as a training facility for the United States Women's Olympic hockey team, and many Olympic medalists have passed through its doors since. It has two sheets, one NHL size and one Olympic size, so figure skaters and speed skaters train here alongside hockey players.
The Express junior hockey team made the arena its home in 2005, and the Express Hockey Club still plays its home games here. The building also hosts high school hockey clubs, select programs, skill camps and the Mite Development Program, its introductory league for novice players.
It hosts numerous tournaments each year, including some of the largest in New England, and most events are streamed live and on demand through LiveBarn.
