A 758-seat hockey arena on the SUNY Broome campus

The SUNY Broome Ice Center is a 758-seat hockey arena and events space on the campus of SUNY Broome Community College in Binghamton. Its single sheet is an NHL regulation-size rink, and the building also holds the Blue Line Café and the Hat Trick Hockey pro shop, which handles skate sharpening from the lobby.

A long list of community groups shares the ice. The Binghamton Figure Skating Club runs its Learn-to-Skate program here, and the Binghamton Speed Skating Club, the Binghamton Blizzard Girls Hockey Association, Binghamton Bulls Ice Hockey and Binghamton University's men's and women's club hockey teams all skate in the building. Broome County's high school hockey association, its adult beginner and high-level leagues and the Southern Tier Hockey Association use it too.

The arena has hosted AHL preseason games, the Empire State Games, the NJCAA hockey nationals, USA Hockey's New York State high school championships and the Presidents Cup Challenge between SUNY Broome and Binghamton University. Off the ice it holds career fairs and home shows. The Ice Center closes only when Broome County is under a state of emergency, so it stays open even on days the campus shuts for weather.
