Cedar Rapids' city-owned two-sheet arena, opened January 2000

ImOn Ice Arena opened on January 8, 2000, as the Cedar Rapids Ice Arena, a 3,850-seat multipurpose building next to Veterans Memorial Stadium and owned by the city of Cedar Rapids. ImOn Communications bought the naming rights from the city in 2020. The arena has served Cedar Rapids as a community center for over 25 years.

The building holds two sheets of ice. Public skating, youth hockey and figure skating take place on both, while larger events such as RoughRiders games are held on the NHL sheet. The Cedar Rapids RoughRiders, founded in 1999 and a Tier 1 junior team in the East Division of the United States Hockey League, call the arena home, and it is also the home ice of the Eastern Iowa Figure Skating Club, a US Figure Skating club. For the 2012 and 2013 seasons it was the temporary home of the Cedar Rapids Titans indoor football team while the U.S. Cellular Center was renovated.

On August 10, 2020, a derecho storm severely damaged the arena. The RoughRiders announced on September 18, 2020, that they would not take part in the 2020-21 USHL season because of the damage, and repair costs, first estimated at $4 million, had risen into the six-million-dollar range by January 2021.
