In Gurugram, ISKATE by Roseate bills itself as India's largest and only all-weather indoor ice skating rink. It was inaugurated in 2011, and the real-ice sheet can take up to 150 skaters at a time.
The ice is also a training ground. The ISKATE School's faculty includes national coaches and athletes, and it hosts sessions led by visiting coaches from the USA, Canada, Russia, Korea and Germany. Younger skaters can use penguin skating aids, and an in-house photographer offers photo souvenirs after a session.
Around the rink the same operator runs a snow room for children, a cafe and patisserie, and a co-working space. The rink's rules mention disco sessions with strobe and laser lighting, so check which kind of session you are booking.
Before you head out.
Admission, rentals and arrival details, researched from official rink information. Source checks stay current for 30 days.
