Anyang's ice arena of 2000

Anyang Ice Arena opened on 24 November 2000. Building began on 8 September 1997 and finished on 31 October 2000, and the building has three floors below ground and one above, on a site of 8,060 square metres. Its rink measures 30 by 60 metres and the stands seat 1,185 spectators.

The Anyang Urban Corporation has managed the hall since 1 November 2000. The professional hockey club HL Anyang trains on the ice in the middle of the day, so on weekdays the public skates in the morning and again in the afternoon, and at weekends in one long session.

Under the arena lies a car park with 447 spaces, free for the first hour and free for three hours to day-ticket skaters. Skaters register on a tablet at the front desk beside the ticket machine.

Admission

For a two-hour session a ticket costs ₩3,500 for adults, ₩3,000 for young people and ₩2,500 for children; skate hire is ₩3,000, so skaters without their own skates pay a set price of ₩6,500, ₩6,000 or ₩5,500.
