A four-rink arena with an Olympic-size sheet, built in 1997

The Sportplexe Pierrefonds was built in 1997 and inaugurated in 1998. It has four rinks: three of National Hockey League size and one Olympic-size sheet.

Ringette has been played here since the building opened, with the Lynx de Pierrefonds teaching girls from the age of four; members of the Lynx organization have been inducted into ringette's hall of fame, among them Caroline Bogusz as a player and Stephen Blackman as an official. The Club de patinage artistique des deux rives, founded in 1971 as the Pierrefonds figure-skating club, moved in in 1998 and has more than 500 skaters. One of its best-known skaters is David Pelletier, who won pairs gold with Jamie Salé at the 2002 Salt Lake City Olympics.

The Association de hockey mineur de Pierrefonds plays here, and CPV West Island trains its speed skaters on the Olympic-size rink. Hockey sport-études programs run by École secondaire Des Sources, École Jonathan-Wilson and the Kuper Academy also use the ice.
