A 9,500 square metre ice complex with mass skating, hockey sessions, schools and a throwing centre
The Morozovo ice complex opened in March 2013 not far from the centre of Moscow. Its more than 9,500 square metres hold four rinks under one roof, mass skating, a hockey school, a figure-skating school, adult hockey and figure-skating groups, martial-arts and gymnastics schools, a bath complex and an office for a sports psychologist.
Fields No. 1 "Buran" and No. 2 "Vikhr" measure 22 by 54 metres, field No. 3 is 18 by 36 metres and field No. 4 is 11 by 22 metres. Mass skating is for all levels, but sticks, pucks and drills that disturb other skaters are not allowed; separate hockey sessions with goals are for players in full equipment.
The complex also has a throwing centre with coaches for every kind of shot, and a professional skate-sharpening service for hockey players and figure skaters. Its weekly session list is marked preliminary.
