A year-round rink on the third floor of the Gorod Lefortovo complex
HC Grad is the home ice of a Moscow hockey club and its youth school, on the third floor of the Gorod Lefortovo complex on Shosse Entuziastov. The club's own history page says the arena arrived in 2010: a covered stadium with stands and a Canadian-style hockey rink.
The club traces its roots to 1999, when a team representing the south-east of Moscow played in the mayor's cup among city prefectures. In 2006 a small 38 by 22 metre rink opened in the Gorod complex on Ryazansky Prospekt, and in 2009 the team took the name Grad.
Public skating is a regular part of the week: the page says sessions run every day, the complex is open all year, and the music plays while administrators watch the ice. Skating goes counter-clockwise only, and children under nine must have an adult with them.
