Home of the QMJHL’s Gatineau Olympiques

Centre Slush Puppie opened on August 20, 2021, replacing the Robert Guertin Centre; Gatineau City Council had approved the CA$79 million arena complex on February 22, 2017. Its 4,080-seat main arena is home to the Gatineau Olympiques of the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League, and Slush Puppie holds the naming rights.

Beside the main bowl are three community rinks, Glace Desjardins, Glace Gérik Construction and Glace Dilawri Auto, each with room for 240 to 480 spectators. The City’s free public skates and drop-in hockey are scheduled on Glaces B, C and D.

In April 2023 the arena hosted three Ottawa 67’s playoff games while TD Place was busy with the World Men’s Curling Championship, and from January 5 to 11, 2026 it staged the Canadian National Skating Championships, with more than 300 junior and senior athletes.
