Mass skating, hockey hours and a throwing zone on the southern edge of Saint Petersburg
Raketa is the only ice in the Shushary district on the southern edge of Saint Petersburg. The rink measures 40 by 20 metres and the ice is resurfaced after every session. Mass skating has separate tickets for adults, children, students, pensioners and large families.
Besides the ice sheet the arena has a separate throwing zone with goalie simulators for hockey players, an 80-square-metre hall for fitness and choreography, an artificial-turf football pitch, five changing rooms with showers and toilets, a cafe and a skate workshop with Prosharp sharpening equipment.
The arena runs mass skating for children and adults, a hockey hour, figure skating and a children's hockey school, and with Track Hockey it organises the Shushary Cup tournaments for young hockey players. The times of mass skating and hockey hours are posted in its online schedule.
