A sports complex on Peterburgskoe shosse in the south of Saint Petersburg
Pulkovskie Vysoty describes itself as a new place for sport and leisure for the whole family: a modern rink for children and adults, schools of hockey and figure skating, fitness training and cheerleading. The complex also has a sharpening workshop and a cafe.
Mass skating runs in one-hour sessions, always counter-clockwise, and no more than 150 people are let on the ice at once. Children under 10 skate only with an adult, one adult for at most two children, and teenagers of 10 to 18 need a written statement from a parent, which can be filled in at reception. Sticks and hockey games are not allowed during mass skating.
The separate hockey hour, with no advance booking, is for players in full hockey kit: helmet, gloves, knee, elbow and chest protection and shorts.
