A city-run convention center and two-arena sports complex, home of the NAHL's Coulee Region Chill in 2010-14
Currently out of season Winter 2026-27 public open skate runs Fridays from November 13 and Sundays from November 15 to late February. Official schedule update
The Omni Center is a multi-purpose convention center and indoor sports arena, run as a division of the Onalaska Parks and Recreation Department. It hosts everything from trade shows and concerts to hockey, figure skating and birthday parties. From the fall of 2010 until August 2014 it was home to the Coulee Region Chill of the North American Hockey League.
The building has two arenas joined by a garage door. Arena 1, the largest event space, has about 28,000 square feet of floor and three sets of bleachers, and holds ice from November to February. Arena 2, at about 22,000 square feet, keeps its ice from June to February for figure skating, hockey, open skate and curling outings.
In winter its public open skates are held on both evenings and mornings.
