Opened as Lifeguard Arena in November 2020 and renamed America First Center in June 2023
America First Center opened in November 2020 as Lifeguard Arena, a 120,000-square-foot hockey practice facility the Henderson Silver Knights built in the Water Street District of Henderson. It was planned as a near-identical twin of City National Arena in Summerlin, with one difference: a larger deck above the main seating area for standing spectators.
Inside are two NHL-size sheets, the Vegas Golden Knights rink and the Silver Knights rink, each with seats for 350 and a deck above them, so the building holds more spectators than its Summerlin sister. The ice carries VGK and HSK youth and adult hockey leagues, Learn to Skate classes, figure skating programs and public skating sessions, and the building hosts hockey watch parties.
The name changed on June 27, 2023, when the Silver Knights' training facility and community rink was renamed America First Center in Henderson. It remains the official practice facility of the Henderson Silver Knights.
