Two rinks the school district runs inside the city's rec center
The Victoria Recreation Center ice arena is home to two ice rinks, identified as Rink West and Rink East, inside the City of Victoria's full-service recreation center in the middle of town. In August 2024 the City described the center as having served Victoria for 21 years, with ice skating available year-round.
The ice is managed by the Eastern Carver County School District, not the City. The District operates, maintains and programs the two rinks, while the City of Victoria manages the other public areas of the building, which include an indoor walking track. The partnership is contracted until 2032; after that the City will be responsible for the entire Recreation Center, including the maintenance and use of the two rinks.
The arena is home to the Chanhassen Storm boys' hockey team and to Holy Family Catholic High School's Fire hockey teams, and it is one of the home rinks of the Chaska Chanhassen Hockey Association.
