Currently out of season The City of Prince George's Arenas & Skating page says the indoor public skating season runs from October to March, with start and end dates subject to change, at the Elksentre and Kopar Memorial arenas, run by YMCA BC. The YMCA's centre page shows the arena as seasonal, 'Closed. Opens in Fall.', and no 2026-27 session dates are posted yet (the City's events calendar still lists the 2025-26 sessions). Built in 1958 as the Prince George Coliseum

Kopar Memorial Arena was built in 1958 as the Prince George Coliseum and stands next to the Civic Centre on Dominion Street. It seats 2,112, including standing room, and is home to the Prince George Spruce Kings of the British Columbia Hockey League. The WHL's Prince George Cougars used it briefly while the CN Centre was under construction.

The name has followed its sponsors. Rolling Mix Concrete held it from 2016 to 2022, and from the 2022-23 season Kopar Administration Ltd. took the naming rights for four seasons.

At 68 years old, the building is now under review. In June 2026 the city's civic facilities staff were weighing whether to refurbish it or build a modern replacement, a question tied to the Civic Core plan, which could include a new arena. The ice is 190 feet long rather than 200, and the brine refrigeration lines beneath it are original to the building.
