One 17,000-square-foot sheet in San Antonio with four adult hockey divisions and an over-40 league
The Ice & Golf Center at Northwoods is a single-sheet rink in San Antonio. Its standard-size surface holds 17,000 square feet of ice, and that one sheet carries the whole program: public skating, figure skating, lessons, hockey and league play, along with birthday parties.
Hockey is where the schedule runs deepest. Adult players sort into four leagues by level, from the AHL A division down through the ARL, BHL and RRHL, plus an Over 40 Draught League with its own A through E tiers. The AHL is the semi-competitive top rung, pitched at experienced skaters, ex-pros and serious athletes itching to get back on the ice. Tournaments run here too: the 3rd Line coed hockey tournament, scheduled for September 18 to 22, guarantees each team five games and sends players home with action shots and player cards.
Figure skaters have their own dated event on the calendar, the Fall Fest In-House Competition on October 25, 2026.
