Biggar's 600-seat arena, open since 1955, with the Mark Edwards Memorial Hall looking over the ice
Loading public skate, freestyle, and stick & puck times for Biggar Jubilee Stadium…
The Jubilee Stadium opened to the public in 1955. It is built on a cement floor with artificial ice, and its 185 by 80 foot ice surface is watched from seating for 600. Five dressing rooms with showers serve the rink.
Through the winter the stadium is home to Biggar's minor hockey, recreation hockey, senior hockey and figure skating, with Biggar Minor Hockey and the Biggar Skating Club among its regular groups. Above the lobby, the Mark Edwards Memorial Hall looks out over the ice surface. The hall is home to the Biggar Air Cadets, and its view of the ice makes it a popular room for social events.
In summer, with the ice out, the stadium is home to the Biggar Day Camp and hosts other social events.
