Four-pad Canlan complex at Highway 409 and Martin Grove Road, renamed CWENCH Centre in September 2024
CWENCH Centre - Etobicoke is the four-pad hockey facility at Ontario Highway 409 and Martin Grove Road, owned and operated by Canlan Ice Sports Corporation of Burnaby, British Columbia. Etobicoke is one of five Canlan arena complexes in the Greater Toronto Area, with the others in North York, Scarborough, Oshawa and Oakville.
All four sheets are NHL-sized. The building is home to the Toronto Marlboros Minor Hockey Organization of the Greater Toronto Hockey League, and Connor McDavid, John Tavares and Jack Hughes all skated here during their years with the Marlboros. The Dixie Beehives of the Ontario Junior Hockey League played out of the complex from 2009 to 2011. In 2007 the facility won the Gold Award in the Toronto Sun Readers' Choice Award for recreational hockey arena.
The name changed in September 2024, when Canlan renamed its Etobicoke location CWENCH Centre - a Canlan Sports Community. New signage was in place by September 17 of that year, and a community celebration marked the change on September 20, 2024. Canlan Sports now runs 16 sports complexes with more than 70 playing surfaces across Canada and the United States, and Etobicoke is the one carrying the CWENCH name.
