Two year-round sheets on the Phillips Academy campus, used by school teams, town hockey and skating programs.
The Phillips Academy Ice Rinks feature two sheets of ice: the Harrison Rink, the main arena with seating for 400, and the smaller but NHL-sized Gurry Rink; the Harrison Rink measures 200' x 94' and the Gurry Rink 200' x 85'. The facility is used year-round for Andover teams, hockey camps, town youth hockey and ice skating programs.
It includes locker rooms for all four PA hockey teams and visiting squads, an athletic training room and spacious lobby and viewing areas. The rinks also host skating school classes, shows and summer camps, and a curling club with leagues.
The rinks belong to Phillips Academy, an independent, coeducational secondary school founded in 1778, and open skates, public skates and freestyles are run through the Skating Club.
