Piné's speed-skating oval and 60 x 30 m hall: opened 1986, 2013 Universiade host
Currently out of season The Trentino tourism page says the Ice Rink Piné is currently closed; no 2026/27 opening date or public-skating hours are published (the rink's own website shows a maintenance page). Official schedule update
Ice Rink Piné in Miola, Baselga di Piné, was built from 1984 and officially opened in January 1986 during an international speed skating competition. Its 400-metre oval is concrete with an artificial refrigeration system, so it serves for roller skating in summer, and a hall beside it holds a 60 by 30 metre ice rink for skating, ice hockey, broomball and curling.
The oval is the base of the Italian national speed skating team. It has hosted the men's World Allround Championships in 1995, the European Championships in 2001 and the Junior World Championships in 2019, as well as the speed skating and curling of the 2013 Winter Universiade.
Skaters who grew up on the Piné oval include Roberto Sighel, the first Italian winner of a world title, and Matteo Anesi, team pursuit gold medallist at the 2006 Turin Olympics.
