Bad Sachsa's Eislaufhalle, an all-year ice hall of 1,350 square metres
The Eislaufhalle opposite the Salztal Paradies in Bad Sachsa is open all year, in summer and winter alike, and has 1,350 square metres of ice. Skaters can circle the rink, practise ice dance, train ice hockey or try ice-stock shooting, and skates are on hand in every size, freshly sharpened.
Much of the year the ice is let by the hour or the day, and it is also home to professional training camps with partners such as the FK Hockey School, the Hannover Indians, the Blue Tigers Berlin and the ESC Wedemark; the SSC Pädagogium Bad Sachsa is a cooperation partner. In the school and public holidays the hall opens for public skating, and from October to April there is an ice disco every Saturday.
Ice-stock shooting is possible too, with two games of four-player teams on the ice at once.
