Ice hall in Åsane Arena, a sports complex given to Bergen sport by Trond Mohn; hockey club home since 2022.
Åsane Arena is a gift from Trond Mohn to sport. Construction started in 2018 and Mohn laid the foundation stone on 11 December 2018. The multi-purpose hall opened on 19 August 2020 and the rest of the complex followed in spring 2021. Today it holds six sports halls and a football stadium on 32,000 square metres.
The ice hall has an ice surface of 1,800 square metres, seats for 250 spectators with standing room for 100 more, and five changing rooms. It is set up for short-track speed skating, figure skating and ice hockey. Åsane Ishockeyklubb, founded in 2007, got its own home rink here in January 2022, and Fana Kunstløp, a figure-skating club established in March 2017, trains mainly in the arena.
