Changwon's 2017 sports-centre rink
Seongsan Sports Center opened on 2 January 2017 and the Changwon Infrastructure Corporation runs it. The ice rink lies on the second basement level and covers 1,830 square metres; the building stands on a site of 9,919 square metres and has 11,515 square metres of floor space.
Public skating is sold as a day ticket that allows three hours including resurfacing, with free helmets, and the ice is resurfaced about every two hours. The hall is kept at 7 to 10 degrees Celsius, so the centre asks skaters to wear long sleeves and trousers.
The ice is open to public skaters from 10:00 to 16:00 on weekdays and from 10:00 to 17:00 on weekends and holidays, and the centre closes on the second and fourth Sunday of each month.
