Kalmar HC's home since October 2021, built where Kalmar's first ice hall, Iffehallen, stood
Hatstore Arena is the home ice of the hockey club Kalmar HC and opened in October 2021. It stands on the site of Kalmar's first ice hall, built in 1981 and renamed Iffehallen in 2003 after the local hockey figure Ivar Lundqvist; that hall was torn down in April 2020 to make room for a new arena of Hockeyallsvenskan standard.
Hatstore Arena is classed as an event arena, with room for 2,650 spectators at ice events. The capacity was raised for the 2024/25 season after a new fire-safety review.
The ice hockey attendance record was set on 20 September 2024, when Kalmar HC met Tingsryds AIF in the opening game of the 2024/25 Hockeyallsvenskan season. The arena's overall record is a concert: Thomas Stenström played here on 7 February 2026 before 3,500 people.
