Kangasala ice hall with a second hall added in 2021
Kangasala's ice hall consists of two halls: Hall 1 was completed in 1996 and Hall 2 in 2021. The hall's spectator capacity is 1,000.
The extension was started in October 2020 and covers about 3,400 square metres. The new training hall has a running track, two rinks and a gym, and its practice area of about 120 square metres adds up to 500 hours of ice time. Under the ice, 19 kilometres of cooling pipe circulate. The Ministry of Education and Culture granted the project 750,000 euros, and the handover inspection took place on 12 July 2021.
The hall is used mainly by Kisa-Eagles juniors, the Eagles men's team, recreational teams and KaVo's representative team. Hall 2 also has a separate practice area meant for uses such as skating by small children.
