A cooperative's hall, opened on 13 November 1999

The Eishalle Sursee was founded as a cooperative on 14 May 1998. Ground was broken on 6 April 1999, the first skaters, students from the Kanti, stepped on the ice on 18 October, and the official opening on 13 November 1999 was marked by a match between EVZ and EHC Olten. In January 2002 the hall hosted the first Rollstuhlcurling world championship held anywhere.

The ice measures 60 by 30 metres. EHC Sursee was formed in 2004 from two clubs, EHC Sempachersee and HC Sursee, the Eisklub Sursee for figure skating followed in 2009, and the international Lehner Cup hockey tournament has been played here since 2013. Once the ice has melted, the hall becomes a triple gymnasium.

A solar plant of 2,566 square metres was installed on the roof in 2023, and in 2024 B-Sports AG under Cyril Bernhard took over running the hall.
