The winter stadium in Mariánské Lázně started operating in 1975, and in those days it had no roof at all. A steel roof structure was begun soon afterwards, but on 6 December 1981 the roof of the stadium fell in. The new roof was built by the Prague firm Armabeton, this time as a timber structure.
The stadium in its present form was finished and reopened in June 1988. In 2019 the ice surface, the cooling system and the boards were completely rebuilt. The ice sheet measures 58 by 28 metres.
Two stands face the ice: one for seated spectators with 480 places, and a standing stand for 800 to 1,000 people. On the gallery are offices and a BAUER brand shop run by ALL SPORTS a.s.
