Weekday mass skating on the main arena, with a cafe overlooking the ice
Loading public skate, freestyle, and stick & puck times for Apia Arena Moscow…
Apia Arena describes itself as the first significant sports facility in Moscow's Butyrsky district, built to the highest safety requirements and standing close to Timiryazevskaya metro station. Its main aim is to create conditions for the all-round training of young athletes.
Besides the first ice arena of 60 by 30 metres and a second of 56 by 26 metres, the complex has a small ice rink for individual lessons, a football pitch, a games hall, a choreography hall with a non-slip floor, a strength room and a throwing centre for hockey players.
Parents can wait in a cafe with panoramic windows onto the ice, and visitors can have skates sharpened and use a sports shop. Mass skating is published as a monthly calendar: the October calendar lists weekday sessions of about an hour on the main arena and crosses out the weekends.
