ICE Arena Letňany is the first ice stadium built in Prague in the last 20 years, and one of the few arenas in the Czech Republic that keeps its ice running all year. It has two indoor ice surfaces of slightly different sizes, used by professional and recreational hockey players alike.
Hall 1 has a stand with seats and a gallery for 550 spectators; hall 2 has a stand with a standing gallery. The Czech national hockey team has lately taken a liking to the arena, and in summer players from the NHL, KHL and other leagues often train there in large numbers.
As the only arena in Prague with uninterrupted ice, it also lets its surfaces to figure skaters and to public skating. Both halls can also be rented for hockey tournaments and other sports events.
