Public skating at Zimní stadion Kobra: the next 7 days

Currently out of season HC Kobra Praha's public-skating page carries one sentence about the season: this year's season of public skating at Kobra is over and the club looks forward to seeing skaters again after the holidays. The sentence has no year, the page prints no 2026/27 dates or times (the list under its "when can you come skating" heading is empty), so no sessions are shown. Checked on 4 October 2026. A Konstruktiva works stadium in Prague-Braník, 1977

Zimní stadion Kobra in Prague-Braník, on Mikuleckého street, was built in 1974-77 as an artificial ice stadium without a roof. It stands on a slope beside the grounds of the former Konstruktiva vocational school and the company's staff housing, and it had six equipped dressing rooms when it opened. The concrete floor of the rink was impregnated with a special emulsion against moisture, prepared by Konstruktiva's development department.

The stadium comes from the Konstruktiva company, whose hockey club HC Konstruktiva Praha was founded in 1929. In 1974 the sports union marked the 45th anniversary of the parent company and started building the new stadium, and in 1977 the national enterprise Konstruktiva opened it beside the Novodvorská housing estate.

HC Kobra Praha uses the stadium today. The club has carried the name Kobra since 1990, and since 1993/94 it has played in the second league, the third tier of Czech hockey.
