Currently out of season The Sapporo Sports Association's notice of 1 October 2026 says the Mikaho Gymnasium skating rink opens on Sunday 1 November 2026 at 10:00 and, with the opening event, runs through the winter to early April; the gym is closed in October while the floor is converted. Hire skates (figure, hockey and half-speed) are available at the rinkside for a fee, in figure sizes 16 to 31 cm and hockey or half-speed sizes 18 to 30 cm. Toe guards for long-speed skates are lent free at reception.
