Grimsta ishall, finished in the 1990s and rebuilt in 2023
Grimsta ishall stands on Grimsta IP in Vällingby, a sports ground for football, ice hockey and athletics north of the Grimstafältet field. The hall was finished in the 1990s, and little was done to it afterwards.
A rebuild finally started in March 2022 to replace the four old, mould-damaged dressing rooms. The youth teams were moved to Husby ishall during the work, and returned to find no new rooms yet. Seven new dressing rooms were inaugurated on Saturday 18 November 2023, when Hässelby Kälvesta HC played at home against Skarpnäcks AIK.
Hässelby Kälvesta HC, a club with about 400 members, had long asked for the modernised rooms. A new gym was also under construction in the hall at the time.
