Vaasa's four-rink ice arena, home of Vaasan Sport and in use since 1971.
Vaasan Sähkö Areena opened in 1971 and has been extended several times. The city of Vaasa owns 84 per cent of the hall and Mustasaari 16 per cent. In summer 2012 the cooling pipework of the main hall was renewed in full; until then it was still the original from 1971.
The main rink measures 28 by 58 metres, and three training rinks of roughly 26 to 27 by 56 to 57 metres share the building. League hockey was played in the new, enlarged hall from the 2020-21 season. Vaasan Sport of the Liiga and KoMu HT from Mustasaari use it as their home hall, and the figure skating club Vaasan Luistinkerho and the formation skating club Wasa Team Skaters also use its rooms.
The attendance record is 5,200, set on 17 February 2024 when Sport met Ilves in a league regular-season match, and the unofficial concert record is 4,500, at the Polar Sound Festival on 6 February 2016. On Sundays the city's sports services run a Hoppis family skating session on rink Areena 3, with an instructor on site.
