Fort Collins' two-sheet city ice and pool center since 1987

Edora Pool Ice Center, known as EPIC, is the City of Fort Collins' high-use recreation facility in east Fort Collins, built in 1987 and expanded in 2003. It counts more than a million visits a year across its ice and aquatics programs. Under one roof are two sheets of ice and an indoor 50-meter pool with diving boards.

The ice is home to Colorado State University Hockey and the Fort Collins Figure Skating Club, with the Fort Collins Area Swim Team on the pool side. CSU's men's team plays its ACHA Division I games at EPIC, a Western Collegiate Hockey League arena with a capacity of 700. The Poudre Valley Curling Club also lists EPIC as its home arena. Drop-in ice runs from public skating and a slower 50+ leisure skate to open freestyle for figure skaters at Basic 4 and above, and pick-up hockey for ages 16 and older.

In March 2026 the City announced that both rinks would close from April 20 for a renovation aimed at facility operations and energy efficiency, replacing the dasher boards, glass and netting, and that the two sheets would be renamed West Rink and East Rink.
