Former home of the NAHL's Colorado Grit

Greeley Ice Haus is the City of Greeley's ice arena, open to residents and non-residents alike, with ice time that runs from adult and youth hockey and figure skating to broomball and sled hockey. Skaters new to the sport start in Learn to Skate, where Snowplow Sam classes take ages 3 to 6, or in an Intro to Hockey course for adults, and the building has its own upstairs bar.

Junior hockey arrived in 2023. The NAHL approved the Colorado Grit as an expansion franchise in January 2023, run by the same ownership group as the Tier III Northern Colorado Eagles, who ceased operations after the 2022–23 season and transitioned fully into the Grit. The Tier II Grit made the Ice Haus their home arena.

That ended in May 2025, when the city terminated the team's lease, citing unpaid bills and other issues with local businesses. The NAHL granted the Grit inactive status for the 2025–26 season, with the team's stated intent of returning for 2026–27, so the Ice Haus went through last winter without a junior tenant.
