Two year-round NHL sheets in East Lansing

Biggby Coffee Ice Cube East Lansing runs two NHL-sized ice rinks year-round and counts more than 850,000 visits a year, which makes it one of Michigan's most heavily visited venues. The building also holds a dance studio and meeting space, and it leases space to businesses including Perani's and Impact Sports Performance.

Youth hockey here is organized under the Lansing Hockey Club, established in February 2014 with the goal of creating one united youth hockey association in Lansing. The club folded in the more than 60-year tradition of GLAHA, the Greater Lansing Youth Hockey Association, and the players who had skated under the Lansing Spartans umbrella. Through the Biggby Coffee Hockey Club it also offers Tier 1 hockey from Pee Wee through Midget for District 6 communities.

Biggby AAA Hockey is based in the building as well, and figure skating has its own tenants: the Lansing Skating Club and the Ladies Silver Blades both call the Ice Cube home.
