Thames Centre’s two-pad arena in Dorchester, with a walking track and a Home of Boone Jenner banner.
The FlightExec Centre at 2066 Dorchester Road is the municipal arena for Thames Centre, which calls it the heart of its recreation, culture and parks system. It has two ice pads: the APC Rink, 85 by 200 feet with seating for 800 and a heated viewing area in the main lobby, and the CANUSA Rink, 80 by 180 feet with seating for 500.
Around the ice are an indoor walking track, where walkers switch direction every half hour, a gymnasium, the Lions Active Living Centre, and meeting rooms with a commercial kitchen. Dorchester Community Park, just outside, adds an outdoor pool, a splash pad, tennis and pickleball courts, four ball diamonds and a skateboard park.
In 2024 the Municipality added a “Home of Boone Jenner” banner to the south entrance, honouring the local hero for his support of the community.
