Public skating at Goodman Park Outdoor Rink: the next 7 days
Currently out of season The City of Madison Parks Division's ice skating page says "All ice rinks and designated skating lagoons are closed for the season" and lists every rink as Closed for Season; no 2026-27 opening date is posted. The City opens a rink or lagoon only after assessing the ice, and its warming shelters typically staff skate rentals and concessions through early to mid-February once the ice is open. The City's ice skating page lists Goodman Park Ice Skating (Closed for Season). Official schedule update

There is no booking: the City asks skaters to check the rink's status before heading out and to stay off any rink listed as closed.
