Middleton's two-sheet arena, founded by Olympian Bob Suter in 1999 and home of the USHL Madison Capitols.
The arena was built in 1999 as Capitol Ice Arena under the leadership of Bob Suter, a Wisconsin Badger and U.S. Olympic gold medalist, to create opportunities for local youth hockey. It was named after Suter in 2014, had a multi-million-dollar renovation in 2018, and in 2024, under Ryan Suter and the Legacy20 organization, was restructured as Bob Suter's Legacy20 Arena Middleton.
It has two NHL-size sheets, including the Bob Johnson Memorial Rink, a capacity of more than 2,600, a second-level beer garden, nine private suites and the Eagle's Nest mezzanine. Over more than 20 years it has developed thousands of young skaters, among them NHL All-Stars and Olympians.
It is home to the USHL's Madison Capitols, Madison Capitols AAA Youth, Middleton Youth Hockey and Middleton High School, and it has hosted the WIAA State Boys and Girls Hockey Tournaments, the 2022 USA Curling Mixed Doubles National Championships and IIHF Women's U18 World Championship games.
