Woodbury's two-sheet city arena, opened with the original dome in 1995 and renamed M Health Fairview.
Woodbury bought 80 acres to build baseball, softball and soccer fields and the city's first ice arena, spending about $6.5 million on the sports center. The original air-supported bubble and the arena opened in 1995, and the fields followed a year later.
A later $22 million renovation and expansion replaced the dome with a field house twice its size, remodeled the arena lobby and added a large outdoor pleasure skating rink. Formerly the HealthEast Sports Center, the complex took the M Health Fairview name after Fairview's 2017 merger with HealthEast; the city had approved a $1.8 million, 14-year sponsorship in April 2017.
The two indoor sheets both measure 200 by 85 feet and share eight locker rooms. The West Rink holds 1,165 people and the East Rink 300, with an enclosed viewing area, and the ice is used by the Woodbury High School boys' and girls' teams, the East Ridge girls, the Woodbury Area Hockey Club and the Woodbury Figure Skating Club.
