An 86,000-square-foot, two-rink arena that is home ice for both UCO and OU college hockey
Arctic Edge Ice Arena in Edmond puts two NHL-size rinks inside an 86,000-square-foot building. It is the home rink for the Oklahoma City Youth Hockey Association Oilkings, the Oklahoma City Figure Skating Club, the Oklahoma Curling Club and the NHL Dallas Stars Learn to Play program.
Two college programs share the ice. The University of Central Oklahoma Bronchos play their home games off campus here, coached by Craig McAlister, the American Collegiate Hockey Association Division I Coach of the Year for 2008–09. The University of Oklahoma team travels up from Norman, which has no rink of its own, to use Arctic Edge as its home.
Junior hockey has used the sheets as well. The Oklahoma City Jr. Blazers moved their home games to Arctic Edge for the 2018–19 season after four seasons at the Blazers Ice Centre, keeping a few games at their old rink, and the Oklahoma City Ice Hawks also played their home games here.
