Home of the NAHL Oklahoma Warriors
Blazers Ice Centre is home to the Oklahoma Warriors, a Tier II junior team in the North American Hockey League's South Division that the rink hails as its 2023 Robertson Cup champions. The Warriors moved here for the 2022-23 season, after the team and the city of Wichita Falls agreed to part ways at the end of 2021-22.
The Warriors share the building with adult league hockey, youth hockey, figure skating and Learn to Skate. It has a full-service pro shop, a snack bar and a VIP suite, and birthday groups get a heated party room or the unheated suite during the Saturday and Sunday afternoon public sessions.
Learn to Skate USA runs year-round here, following the national curriculum endorsed by U.S. Figure Skating and USA Hockey, with regular classes on Tuesdays and Saturdays and a homeschool class on Thursdays. Training ice is set aside for skaters working with a coach or practicing specific skills.
