Canterbury Recreation Complex – Brian Kilrea Arena is an indoor skating facility at 2185 Arch St in Ottawa. The Brian Kilrea Arena provides an NHL-size indoor ice surface within a complex that also has a swimming pool and community centre. An adjacent park, picnic tables and a covered gazebo offer space before or after skating.

Drop-in skating at rinks inside City recreation facilities is a Basic activity, per visit with HST added at payment: child, youth or student CA$3.11; adult CA$5.19; senior (65 and older) CA$3.89; family CA$3.11 per person.
Reservation rules for drop-in skating differ by arena, and each facility's schedule shows which sessions need no reservation. Where one is required, book on the facility page from 6 pm up to two days ahead; in-person walk-in reservations are accepted when space allows. Arrive no more than 15 minutes before your session.
At public and family skates, children 10 and under must be actively supervised by a parent or guardian aged 14 or older. Children 10 and under must wear a CSA-certified hockey helmet to be allowed on the ice at City indoor arenas (bicycle, ski and snow-sport helmets are not allowed), and children may not be carried on the ice.
