North Rustico's Canada Games arena, opened in February 2023

The Eliyahu Wellness Centre at Canada Games Place opened in North Rustico on February 16, 2023, as a legacy project of the 2023 Canada Winter Games. It stands where the North Star Arena, built in 1970 and home to local hockey for years, was completely demolished to make way for the new building. Construction ran from 2021 to 2022, with Wellington Construction as general contractor.

The building has PEI's only Olympic-sized ice surface, along with a fitness centre, a 180-metre walking track, a community hospitality room with ice viewing and campus space for The Mount Academy. During the Games it was the venue for short track speed skating in the first week and figure skating in the second.

After the Games the facility was meant to be open to the community and local sports organizations, and the centre now hosts a hockey school.
