Selwyn Township’s single-pad arena in Ennismore, reopened in September 2026 with a new floor slab and chiller.
No public skating is posted for the next 7 days. New sessions show here as soon as the rink posts them.
The Ennismore Community Centre stands in the Robert E. Young Recreation Complex and holds one sheet of ice through the winter; in summer the building hosts day camps, trade shows and special events. Upstairs, the Ennismore Auditorium holds 200 people and can be rented for gatherings, with a bar option.
On September 24, 2026, the Township of Selwyn celebrated the arena’s grand re-opening after a major renewal. The work replaced the 54-year-old, 180-by-80-foot concrete slab floor along with the refrigeration piping and the ice rink chiller, upgrades the Township calls essential to the arena’s long-term future for sporting groups, youth leagues, recreational skaters and community organizations.
Ontario put nearly $1 million toward the project through its Community Sport and Recreation Infrastructure Fund, and Hydro One contributed through the Durham Kawartha Power Line Project and Selwyn Community Investment. The ceremony, with remarks from MPP Dave Smith, Hydro One’s Nancy Clark and Mayor Sherry Senis, ended with a free public skate.
