Peterborough's twin-pad arena, opened in January 2025
Ground was broken for the Miskin Law Community Complex at Morrow Park on December 8, 2022, and the City of Peterborough officially opened it on January 15, 2025. The 121,500-square-foot building holds a twin-pad arena, an indoor walking track, multi-purpose spaces and leasable offices, and its Peterborough Public Library branch replaced the De La Fosse branch. Miskin Law holds the overall naming rights for ten years.
Both ice pads measure 200 by 85 feet and seat 500 each. Russelle Toyota holds the naming rights to the north pad, while Canadian Hockey Enterprises named the south pad and runs its operations from leased space in the building. In its first month the complex hosted the Steve Richey Tournament of Champions and the Peterborough Hockey Association Tournament.
In the two-storey atrium at the main entrance, Indigenous artist Vanessa Dion Fletcher's installation Resonant Harmony fills the floor-to-ceiling windows with three hoops painted in the textures, patterns and colours of quillwork.
