Currently out of season The Town of Scarborough's skating ponds page says the outdoor ice rinks are closed for the 2026 season and that the town will be back on the ice next winter after the first good freeze. Open and closed status is posted at the top of that page and on the town's Facebook page, usually by 12 pm on weekdays; no 2026/27 opening date is posted. Official schedule update

The town added a 60 by 100 foot ice rink next to the tennis courts on Wentworth Drive for 2025-26, maintained by Scarborough Community Services.

Hockey is not permitted on the Wentworth Drive rink because of safety and property damage concerns; hockey players use the back skating pond at 20 Municipal Drive. The rink is for ice skating only.
