The city's oldest artificial-ice arena, home to the Titans and, in summer, box lacrosse
The Kinsmen Arena is the oldest artificial-ice arena in Prince Albert, with an 85-by-190-foot surface and a viewing area for 555 spectators, plus skate sharpening and a concession in the lobby. Wayne Mesenchuk, who has run the Prince Albert Titans Junior B club as president, general manager and alternate governor, calls it a second home, though the Titans' tiny office is tucked away in the basement.
The Prince Albert Minor Hockey Association uses it consistently, and the Prince Albert Ice Hawks of junior hockey once called it their home rink; the Raiders held exclusive advertising rights there, as at the Steuart Arena and the Art Hauser Centre. In the dry-floor season the building is home to Prince Albert Box Lacrosse, the Junior Predators and the Senior Outlaws.
