Mount Pearl's twin-sheet arena: 1,004 fixed seats on Rink 1, heated seating on Rink 2, a 2004 U-17 venue
The Glacier Arena is Mount Pearl's twin-sheet rink, a three-level complex with two 85-by-200-foot ice surfaces. Arena 1 is the show rink, with six dressing rooms, 12 viewing booths and a fixed-seat gallery for 1,004 spectators. Arena 2 has four dressing rooms and seating for 350, including heated seating. A cafeteria with a full kitchen offers standing-room viewing onto Rink 1.
The Glacier is home ice for the Mount Pearl Jr. Blades, and the building has hosted two international tournaments. In 2004 it was one of the two main venues for the World U-17 Hockey Challenge, alongside Mile One Stadium in St. John's. In 2013 it shared the Ball Hockey World Championship with the Jack Byrne Arena in Torbay: eight days, 78 games across three divisions.
